The Wes Method (Refreshed)

How we book qualified meetings on LinkedIn without sounding like everyone else.

Speaker note: Open with energy. This deck is the philosophical spine of everything we do. If they buy the philosophy, the tactics land. If they don't, no tactic survives.

SECTION 01The outbound landscape is broken

  • 2 percent reply rate is now considered "good"
  • Buyers have seen every template ever written
  • Cold pitches in DM 1 trigger an instant block
  • Sequencers spray the same 12 lines to 5,000 people
  • Sellers blame the buyer. The buyer is fine. The pitch is the problem.
Speaker note: Get the prospect nodding here. Almost every founder we talk to has been burned by an SDR agency or a bad sequencer. Validate that pain before you sell anything.

SECTION 02Don't Sell. Connect.

  • This is not a tagline. It is the entire operating system.
  • Stage 1 is not "qualify." Stage 1 is "be a person worth talking to."
  • We never pitch in the first message. Ever.
  • We earn the right to talk business by being interesting first.
  • Selling happens on Zoom, not in the DM.
Speaker note: This is the fork in the road. Most agencies sell in DM 1. We don't. If they push back here, the rest of the deck won't matter.

SECTION 03The headline is the whole game

  • Old way: "I help SaaS founders book more demos"
  • That headline tells the buyer you are about to sell them something
  • New way: 5 to 7 personal facts in your headline
  • "Dad of 3. Cyclist. Ex-Salesforce. Living in Austin. Building in B2B."
  • Buyers connect with humans, not value props
Speaker note: The headline is the single biggest leverage point in the entire system. Show them yours on screen if you can.

SECTION 04Real headlines that beat "I help X do Y"

  • Marketing exec: "Mom. Marathoner. Grew up in Brooklyn. Builder of brands. Coffee snob."
  • Founder: "Husband. Two boys under 4. Texan. Building software for plumbers. Recovering CPA."
  • AE: "Golfer. Fly fisherman. Boston native. Quota crusher at a fintech you've heard of."
  • The pattern: identity, geography, specificity, one professional anchor at the end.
  • Acceptance rates double. Sometimes triple.
Speaker note: Show 2 or 3 anonymized real client headlines here. The before/after is the most persuasive part of the entire pitch.

SECTION 05The 4-stage framework

  • Stage 1: Friendly. They accepted the connection.
  • Stage 2: Engaged. They replied to a non-pitch message.
  • Stage 3: Interested. They asked a real question or shared a problem.
  • Stage 4: Booked. They are on your calendar.
  • Every contact is exactly one of these. Always.
Speaker note: We will go deep on this in a separate deck. For this audience, the headline is "we have a label for every conversation, and we never skip ahead."

SECTION 06Connect Deeply

  • Spend 20 minutes a day on contacts in Stage 2 and Stage 3.
  • Voice notes. Loom videos. Comments on their posts. Real reactions.
  • The goal is not to sell. The goal is to be remembered.
  • One real human moment beats 50 follow-up nudges.
  • Connect Deeply is what closes the deals the sequencer almost killed.
Speaker note: This is the unscalable layer most agencies refuse to do. It is also the reason our retention is 3x theirs.

SECTION 07The Hidden Pipeline (Rekindle)

  • Every account has 200 to 2,000 dormant connections.
  • 80 percent never got a second message.
  • We rekindle them with a non-pitch opener tied to something true.
  • Real client: 740 dormant connections, 18 meetings booked in 30 days.
  • The pipeline you already have is bigger than the pipeline you are buying.
Speaker note: This slide consistently moves prospects from "interesting" to "book the call." The hidden pipeline is the easiest yes in our pitch.

SECTION 08AI-amplified, not AI-generated

  • AI writes the draft. A human approves the send.
  • Personalization at scale: their post, their company news, their city, their alma mater.
  • We never auto-send. A human is always in the loop.
  • AI cuts the time per message from 4 minutes to 30 seconds.
  • The human keeps the voice intact.
Speaker note: Differentiate hard from "AI SDR" companies that just spray more, faster. Our AI saves time. It does not replace judgment.

SECTION 09What we believe

  • Outbound is a relationship business, not a volume business.
  • The headline is more important than the pitch.
  • Stage 1 is sacred. Never pitch to a Friendly.
  • Voice notes outperform text 4 to 1.
  • Reactivating an old connection is cheaper than buying a new lead.
Speaker note: This is the manifesto slide. Read it slowly. Let it land.

SECTION 10Who this is for

  • Founders selling B2B at 5K to 50K average contract value.
  • Agencies who want a repeatable lead engine.
  • Sales leaders tired of $130K SDRs producing 4 meetings a month.
  • Anyone with a LinkedIn audience over 1,500 connections sitting idle.
  • People who want to sound like a human.
Speaker note: The ICP is wide on purpose. Disqualify in the next slide.

SECTION 11Who this isn't for

  • Anyone selling sub-$1K transactional offers
  • Brands chasing 10,000 cold meetings a month
  • Companies who want to write the messages themselves
  • People who think "Don't Sell, Connect" is too soft
  • Buyers who measure outbound by send volume, not revenue
Speaker note: Disqualify clearly. The wrong fit churns and writes bad reviews. Save everyone the pain.

SECTION 12The pricing logic

  • SC Assisted: $595 per month. We coach. You execute.
  • SC Managed: $1,195 per month. We run it end to end.
  • Compare to one SDR at $95K to $130K all-in.
  • Compare to a typical agency retainer at $3K to $7K with worse messaging.
  • We are the cheapest path to a real meeting that exists.
Speaker note: Anchor against the SDR cost first. The agency comparison is secondary. The SDR number is the one that closes deals.

SECTION 13The next step

  • 30-minute call. We audit your LinkedIn, your headline, your pipeline.
  • You leave with a 90-day plan whether you hire us or not.
  • If we are a fit, we kick off in 5 business days.
  • If not, we tell you and refer you somewhere honest.
  • Book at salesconnector.com/call
Speaker note: Always end with a soft, specific CTA. The "leave with a plan whether you hire us or not" line is what gets the booking.
